The Kanestio Historical Society is a non-profit organization as defined in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

The purpose of the Society is to bring together those people interested in the history of Canisteo.  Our main function is to discover, collect and preserve materials that help to tell the history of Canisteo and to share, so far as may be feasible, to all who wish to examine or study it.
